แม้ว่าเราจะวางแผนและคิดอย่างดี

แต่ถึงอย่างนั้นฉันก็ไม่ได้บอกให้ตัวเองหยุดคิด
แต่กำลังบอกให้ตัวเองรับมือกับความ ผิดหวัง


จะทำอย่างไรถ้าคนอื่นเข้ามาแล้วทำให้เราผิดแผน
และชีวิตกลับกลายเป็นอย่างอื่น ...
ไม่ใช่ในแบบที่อยากให้เป็น!


ชีวิตที่วางแผนจะมีวันเวลาที่สดใส
แต่กลับพบกับเมฆดำมืด ในสถานการณ์จริง


ตลอดเวลาที่ฉันใช้ชีวิตมา
ฉันมักจะโกรธและหงุดหงิดเสมอ
ในเวลาที่ทุกอย่างไม่เป็นดังใจต้องการ!


ฉันรู้สึกเดียวดาย
และสิ้นหวัง
ที่ต้องลงมือใช้ชีวิตด้วยตัวเอง
แล้วมันพังไม่เป็นท่า

รู้สึกโกรธที่คนอื่นไม่ทุ่มเทเท่าที่ฉันทำ
ผิดแล้วผิดแล้ว!

จากความสิ้นหวัง
ฉันเรียนรู้การ
ปล่อยวาง
และเอ่ยปากขอความช่วยเหลือ
เปิดพื้นที่ให้คนอื่นเข้ามาในใจฉันมากขึ้น
ฉันยังทำได้ไม่ดีหรอก
แต่ถ้าการทำด้วยตัวเองแล้วมันโดดเดี่ยวนัก

ถ้าเช่นนั้น
...
ก็ได้โปรด
ช่วยฉันที

และฉันกำลังจดจ่ออยู่ที่ตัวเองมากไป
นั่นแหละปัญหา

ฉันเรียนรู้ว่า
เมื่อตัวเองเลิกควบคุมสถานการณ์
มุมมองต่อสิ่งต่างๆของฉันต่อสถานการณ์ จะเปลี่ยนไป

เปลี่ยนไปเพราะฉันตัดสินใจเลิกโฟกัสที่ปัญหา
และการตั้งหน้าตั้งตาคอยจัดการสิ่งที่จะทำให้ฉันผิดแผน

น่าแปลก
การคอยจัดการปัญหาในชีวิต
ทำให้ชีวิตฉันเหมือนจะผ่านไปได้
แต่มันกลับไม่เคลื่อนไปข้างหน้าอย่างที่ควรจะเป็น

และฉันก็ไม่สามารถที่จะทำทุกอย่างได้ด้วยสองมือของตัวเอง การยอมรับให้คนอื่นช่วยแม้เค้าอาจจะทำได้ไม่ดี ฉันอาจจะไปถึงฝั่งช้า หรือ อาจจะผิดเป้าไปบ้าง! 
แต่ฉันก็ไม่โดดเดี่ยวอีกต่อไป —

Note to self :
• ยอมรับ เปิดใจรับ การช่วยเหลือจากคนอื่นบ้าง
• เรียนรู้ที่จะอุดรูรั่วเท่าที่จำเป็น
• แล้วปล่อยให้ชีวิตเคลื่อนไปข้างหน้า
• เลิกคิดถึงแต่ตัวเอง 
• มีความสุขกับสิ่งง่ายๆ ระหว่างทาง เลิกคาดหวังความสุขปลายทาง เพราะสุดท้ายแล้ว ผลลัพธ์จะดีกว่าหรือเลวร้ายกว่า เราก็ได้มีความสุขกับชีวิตที่ผ่านมาไปแล้ว

I recently had an interaction with a complete stranger over social media about our ministry. Varsity Action Sports Ministries is a mission outreach where we get to travel into the places where traditional churches may overlook.

We get to use skateboarding as a tool to share the gospel in the lives of the lost. 
Before the conversation with this stranger had started I was feeling above the clouds! Our ministry had just returned from an event at a VBS where we saw multiple students commit their lives to Jesus. 

Our devotionals on YouVersion were receiving some amazing positive feedback. However, all it took was one negative message from someone on social media to leave me feeling like my worth was much less valuable than what God knows it to be. 

Instead of feeling above the clouds, 
I felt very far below them. 
When you're beneath the clouds you can become lost. 

It's dark. 
You have no clear path. 
You may feel alone or abandoned. 
Just because we cannot see the sun doesn't mean that it isn't there.

Focus: 
Think of a time where you were beneath the clouds. 

A time where you are asking God for a purpose or plan and you hear nothing back. 

What did you do in that time? 
In what way did God bring you out of that situation? 

We often focus so much on the situation that we forget about the plan God already has for us to overcome.

“The Lord said to me, “Do not be afraid of him, for I have delivered him into your hands, along with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.” So the Lord our God also gave into our hands Og king of Bashan and all his army.
