• Me after watching this film: THIS FILM IS FUCKIN' AMAZING

• "Memory is a strange thing." Of course, it is.

• LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATION are actually a WEAPON.

• A non-zero-sum game
  

• Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis (A quite interesting theory. Just read it.)
  

• It's totally mind-blown that an expert linguist, Louise Banks, sees time as non-linear as the five-dimensional creatures (or we can calling them the 'Heptapods'). She's got a 'gift' from them, a visions of the future to help humanity. So in next three thousand years, the humanity can help and save them from some unspecified issue... (This makes me wanna learn some alien language now.)
  

• One thing you have to know is a Palindrome, meaning a word, number, or whatever which reads the same in forward or backward such as HANNAH (Louise's child). Hannah is Louise's whole life. Even though Louise could see the future and knew what will happen, she still doesn't change things.

• I like the Heptapods' alphabet. Similarity to the Ouroboros, meaning tail devourer; depicting a snake or dragon eating its own tail to sustain its life. ETERNITY.

• The 'Abbott is death process' scene is tearing me up a little bit inside. Abbott knew that he was going to die long before it actually happened, but he still continued. *legit crying*

• I wish Ian Donnelly got more scenes. His character is interesting.

• A breathtaking cinematography by Bradford Young along with a great performance by Amy Adams as Louise Banks literally make me thrilled.

• The middle of a green valley in Montana, United States, the place where one of the twelve alien spacecraft (which actually looks like a floating giant bean) or 'the Shell' has landed, is really beautiful especially with a wide angle on approach.

• The montage sequences before ending or the 'flashbacks' is stunning. I've started shivering when Hannah said "It's called 'Mommy and Daddy Talk to Animals'." then in next few scenes THAT artwork on the wall appeared. As when Ian said "Do you want to make a baby?" then Louise smiled at him and replied "Yes."

• A soundtrack is something you worth listening to.

• Me, waking up in the next morning with such a weird feeling, the whole concept of the film still stuck in my head. Besides, I dreamed that the Heptapods were teaching me their language. No offense but they're scary as hell!

• Lastly...
