I have been thinking about how I've wanted my life to be. I was worried that I might not be able to reach the destination, or I might don't want to go back and I will die alone. Then I realized that I keep changing my mind in every 2 years, sometimes in 2 weeks, and sometimes in 2 minutes.
I have learned from landscape architecture school that anything can change. Trees are growing. Branches follow the Sun. When I move the tree, those branches reach the Sun from other directions.
Trees do not walk, but I do. Also the Sun is not the only source of light. I will make sure I will see LED, incandescent, halogen, metal halide, Christmas lights, aurora, meteors, Betelgeuse, Milky Way, the Big Bang, et cetera, et cetera.
It might be easier to put down roots and grow straight to the biggest source of light you have seen, but the problem is I've never chosen an easy way. (I know, I hate myself either.) There are too many possibilities, and I want them all.
I do not know where I will be in the end, because I never know what or when is the end. One thing I know, I will go back. I'm planning to see you again. You are my favourite sources of light.
(I hope you are torches that can walk too. I would like to see more of the lights that I'm familiar with. The Sun in Southern Hemisphere is too confusing. )
