marmalade
  • Life is like marmalade—slowly made from both sweetness and bitterness, teaching the heart that every flavor has its place. To carry a shattered heart yet continue one’s journey with the grace of a poem is a testament to an enduring memory.

Like the slow simmering of preserves, life demands time, patience, and a watchful heart. Every moment shared, whether bathed in joy or shadowed by grief, dissolves into a deep, indelible bond.
Though the seasons may alter the flavors of our existence, the truth of the heart remains untouched. There is a profound beauty in this: the quiet embrace of both the sugar and the rind.

There is a profound beauty in a heart that has been broken yet chooses to beat with poetic grace. I gave everything to that love, and in return, I felt the sharpest bitterness of its end.
But like marmalade stirred over a steady flame, those moments—both the radiant and the ruinous—have crystallized into something enduring. I do not seek to forget; instead, I preserve every memory in the cellar of my heart.

Though I move toward a new horizon, I carry the essence of all we were. I am ready to bloom again, knowing that the bitterness was never a mistake, but the very thing that made the sweetness real.

Inspired by Marmalade, a song by WOLF HOWL HARMONY.
